Blogging is more about researching and less about writing! I talked about this 80-20 principle in a recent post titled ‘advantages of blogging‘. However, from time to time most bloggers will face the writer’s block or inability to continue writing at the same pace and frequency as they used to do in the past.
There are a number of ways to deal with the writer’s block problem and one of them is to follow profound bloggers and their hugely popular blogs in order to draw inspiration to blog about. I would like to call such blogs feeder blogs and let us talk about them in this short post.

In the past one year or so, Twitter has grown from a mere micro blogging option to a must-have social networking route. It is not just for bloggers, affiliate marketers and online service providers anymore but Twitter forms an extremely handy channel for selling your offline products as well.

For the past three-four days I have been stuck at home with flu (Nothing new - it recurs every two or three months) and wasn’t really active on visiting and commenting on other blogs. The impact of this short break from the blogosphere was immediate - there was a huge reduction of traffic and comments on this blog. And I was really thinking whether we bloggers are becoming more and more selfish these days.
I think, the selfishness is more in the MMO niche because helping each other is not a popular formula here. After all ‘money’ and ‘selfishness’ complement each other very well. And if majority of your readers are bloggers themselves (blogging tips niche) you have a very good chance of not getting any comments on your post if you don’t return the same favor on time.

Knowingly or unknowingly, bloggers, unlike regular website owners, usually do a lot more link building and SEO activities. Many of them are via commenting on other blogs, link exchanges with friends, creating public profiles/SocNet accounts, being active on forums etc. However, many of us blindly concentrate on the link building activities directed to our home page alone than focusing on deep linking.
In this post, I would like to concentrate on the deep linking topic inspired by a bunch of tweet exchanges I had with with Luis of Some Extra Pennies - a regular reader of this blog.
