Bidvertiser has been the main PPC ad program on this blog ever since my Google account started misbehaving. Initially, my Bidvertiser ads were giving only 7 or 8 cents per click and the click through rate (CTR) was very poor as well when compared to my Google AdSense experience. With a couple month long experiments, though, now I have reached a point where the average CPC is as high as 21 (individual clicks up to $0.48 so far). In this post, I would like to share some tips based on what I did to optimize my Bidvertiser ads.

CreditBurner is a PTP network (Paid-To-Promote). They have a wide variety options to choose when it comes to ad types that the publishers can display on their blogs or websites. I had a 10 day long trial with CreditBurner and the following is my view on this network, based on my experience with their CPM banner ads alone.

Sign up Process

The sign up for publishers is extremely fast as you can get started as soon as you enroll. There is no major site requirement in order to become a publisher with CreditBurner and moreover their simple sign up form does not even ask for any site information where the ads might get displayed. I had posted a short review on the Comment Kahuna (CK) blog commenting software a couple of months back. The Fast Blog Finder (FBF) from G-Lock Software is a similar product which helps you to search blogs of your interest and comment there in from a simple window interface.

Why comment on blogs?

Improving the Google page rank (PR) is one of the primary goals of anybody who has a blog or website so that his/her website appears on top of the Google search results. The case is much the same with other search engines as well but Google PR is the yardstick for most people and businesses. Google assigns ranks (0 to 10 - higher the rank, the better) to web pages mainly based on the number of pages linking or referring to the page being ranked. In the case of blog comments, most of them accepts a URI to your own blog while commenting which gives a valid backlink per comment.
