We are three months live in the blogosphere now and I am glad to share with you all that we have been assigned a Google Page Rank (PR) of 2. Well, it may not be the greatest achievement yet but something really good to begin with. With some good marketing and link building, we should have done better.

Probably, we might consider changing this blog to DoFollow as this would help a lot of budding bloggers and our readers, who comment here, to achieve better page ranks.

Today D$ completes two months in the blogosphere. So many things happened during these two months - some good, some not so. Instead of dissecting things too much I would like to take this opportunity to tip the budding bloggers and wannabes on how typically a blog grows and how many things need to be taken care of while setting up a new blog. As I kept recording the events during the past couple of months, it is easier for me to talk about the same and I hope this information is useful to some of you - experienced bloggers please excuse. Since I cannot cover everything in one single post, I am splitting this topic into more than one part. Important tips for the beginners are marked with a ‘light bulb’ .

Phase 1. Planning
Before starting this blog I had some reasonably good blogging and website development experience. But as I was sick of doing personal homepages and generic stuff, I wanted to do something differently this time around. As we enter 12th day of our ‘public’ operations, we just thought of thanking our readers and RSS subscribers for listening to us. Though, we started building this blog and related tools almost two months back, it was really the last couple of weeks where we picked some momentum - post pilot testing by preview readers, that is.

After a month long development and initial content creation we are opening this site to public today It’s a great relief that the baby is finally out but the greater challenge of bringing it up is right ahead!

In the past one month a couple of friends have been supportive to play around the beta site and give invaluable suggestions. Our sincere thanks to them!

Dollar$hower.com is not just another blog for online moneymaking. We have spent tremendous amount of time to develop the content and tools that will help our readers to pick and analyze the money-maker product of their choice. We apologize that while these tool developments were undergoing, the frequency of posting came down a bit but hopefully that has not affected the quality of what we promised to deliver. We are already working on the next set of tools to automate the entire moneymaking process.
