Earlier this week I had requested my blogger readers to come up with catchy single words that describe their blogs. I got some very good response to this little opinion post and some answers were really intriguing, some others were funky while majority of them were pretty straight forward single words that symbolized these individuals’ blog or their brand.
The word that I used to describe D$ was ‘monetize‘ which probably was the least interesting of all 😆 – perhaps I should put more thoughts into it next time around! The following are some of the coolest single word responses that I got. As promised, I am giving link love to not just the top 10 but all of you who responded well. Moreover, picking the top ten all by myself is not an easy job.
The list of single words and the respective blogs/bloggers
Bruno Auger described his blog as ‘Semantic‘.
Ramesh of The Geek Stuff, quite understandably chose the word ‘Geek‘.
Abhishek opted for the intriguing word, ‘Fitiyal‘, that he needs to explain to all of us right now!
Dot Com Dud called his spectacular blog, ‘Blogctacular‘.
Nihar of Nihar’s World felt that ‘CrickeTechBlog‘ best explains his Cricket and Technology Blog. Well, that’s a lot of words out there!
2ThePoint, just like her interesting domain name, came up with an interesting word i.e. ‘Erm‘.
Max @ Viliat.com had ‘Moneywise‘ as his punch word… Hmm, I should have taken that one!
Salwa picked ‘BlogTerrific‘ which is the right explanation for the domain name as well.
‘Fashion++‘ was MK’s short and cute description of her blog.
Barbara of BWAB had ‘Community‘ as her short comment – definitely that’s what her blog stands for.
Norhafidz‘s ‘quixotic‘ was definitely exotic!
Melvin had ‘Ubiquitous‘ as his punch-word!
BicycleSpokesman is mike’s domain name as well as his keyword.
Michael Austin had ‘Delusions‘ as his pick of words for his blog Harlequinade.biz. I, however, do not understand what his domain name stands for… Please enlighten us
…and finally Kim used ‘Customize‘ as the single word description of KimWoodbridge.com.
Thanks everyone for your participation and let me know which among the above was the best description! (Also please alert me of any typo in the URL or names)
