Help us win the Blogging Idol 2!
Dear Readers,
We had written about the Blogging Idol 2 competition three weeks back. The Blogging Idol 2 competition is conducted by Daily Blog Tips whereby 125 participants compete each other to win the their esteemed readers and visitors. We are participating in this prestigious competition that runs from November 1st to November 30th.
The main goal of the competition is to get the maximum number of RSS subscribers during the month of November ‘08. At the moment Dollar$hower.com is at 35th position (out of 125) and we really need your support to climb up. Please subscribe to our RSS feed by using one of the options (email or via feed reader) in the sidebar or header of this page.
Further to the subscription, there will be an open voting session that will be starting on Monday (24th Nov) and run for five days next week. The voting session decides the true popularity of the blog and we request you to vote for us as well.
We take this opportunity to thank every one of you who subscribed to our feed and lifted the subscriber count from 116 to as high as 160 last week.

If you have noticed, next to the email subscription box, we have added two other subscription options as well - (1) Dollar$hower.com feedcast (audio) and (2) Follow me on Twitter. Though only RSS subscription is considered for the Blogging Idol competition, these options provide other channels of receiving updates from us. Feel free to pick the one that is more convenient to you.

Looks like a very interesting competition. Have you created a landing page that allows people to subscribe with email and advertise your page with Google Adwords?
I think that’s one of the fastest. You guys are really good!

@Alex, thanks for your compliments and the adwords idea. I had used adwords for about 10-15 days initially to get some boost… but money was running out fast so stopped it
