Chitika was once a good ads program but now they are not. May be Chitika Gold premium account holders get high CPC but for silver account it does not.

I have just had my adsense revoked after two years of working with it . They do not tell my why and they simply rejected my appeal without any reason given.
They also keep mony owing to you – and I had foolishly kept three months to accumulate came to $700- they just take it and say its ours now – but how can you challenge them without spendning a fortune in legal costs.
I have never abused the system and I dont why I am banned but it raises alarm bells for me when you can so easily be dismissed and you have no recourse to justice. In my googling to find out about others who had ;this experience I found one small business who had 200000 removed from their account with no reason given and their appeals were just ignored with an automated message
I do not feel I could trust their system or those people ever again – I will move to chitika and cpas and in some way perhaps its the universes way of telling me to do things differently on the net and tyr other methods

Chitika works equally good from an advertisers perspective…I do use it in some of my websites…Inline text ads like kontera rocks

It is a bad news indeed.But I feel Ajith is already prepared to face this situation by developing alternate channels.So it is a kind of interesting situation for him.

That’s the reason one shouldn’t depend on one source of income. Specially AdSense, as Google can’t control click fraud and they ban the bloggers.

You may be right about paid content and AdSense impact. A lot of people believe all Google services hate paid content

As for the AdSense payout, I do not think that it’s peanuts. The more traffic you have, the more you get…at least when it comes to PPC, it’s the best so far.

Adsense has nothing to do with paid links or sponsored posts thats more for Google’s organic search queries ..and you can do paid text and sponsored posts as long as you have a nofollow tag on the outgoing link …it can be used as a form of advertising , not as a form of extracting Google juice …Adsense bans are based on click patterns if someone want to ban you they can do so in less than a minute by clicking all your ads…adsense anyways pays peanuts to advertisers

Nihar, I have the same feeling that they may not revert their ban decision. Anyhow, I am not really desperate as the AdSense income from this blog wasn’t that great. However, I had some niche blogging plans which has to be on hold now.
