Most of us go through writer’s block (or blogger’s block) many times in our blogging lives. If not for this issue, there may be still situations where you just don’t have enough time to come up with your blog post of the day in order to maintain your post frequency.
One way to tackle this issue is to schedule a number of posts well in advance as mentioned in one of the old posts here that talked about writer’s block. But if you already run out of those scheduled posts or they are kind of in draft form, you may need to go for the so-called ‘bail out posts’ – as I would call them. The Black hat SEO = Dig Your Own Grave!

In Feb 2006, BMW’s official site was blacklisted by Google for indulging in unethical SEO activities that manipulated the page ranking system. Getting blacklisted by Google would mean that your site’s PR suddenly drops to zero and no more pages from your site will be indexed by Google basically denying your site’s search visibility.
Black hat SEO (spamdexing) is the collective term to describe such bad SEO activities. These methods, for sure, bring in immediate visibility to your website or blog but are almost certain to be banned by Google sooner or later. Any website receives human visits from three major traffic categories – direct visits, referral visits and search engine visits. While you, as a webmaster or blogger do not have much control over direct and referral categories, the

BackType.com – The ‘twitter’ for comments

BackType.com is a comment aggregator web service or even known as the twitter for comments. It came in to existence only a couple of months back and in my effort to find newer traffic generation mechanisms, I thought of taking a look at it and write about the same (Those who are experienced with BackType may find this post boring but please provide your experiences with the same)
What exactly is BackType?
As I mentioned, BackType aggregates all your blog comments – not just the ones on your blog, but other places as well – and keeps them indexed based on tags and in chronological order. Then they present it in a nice way that people can see this comment catalogue and can even follow comments, subscribe to alerts, reply to comments right there etc. They can even see on how many blogs you have been commenting on lately.
