Get other blogs’ feed count and statistics

Whenever I see a new comment or a MyBlogLog visitor on my blog, the very first thing I do is to check out his/her blog. After quickly scanning through a couple of posts there, I head for some nosey activities like checking this blog’s popularity in terms of traffic ranks, feed subscriber count etc. Further I would definitely subscribe to the RSS feed, right then, if the blog is interesting.

Talking about feeds, there are a number of bloggers out there who opt for not displaying their feed count or FeedBurner chicklets for whatever reasons. However, there are a number of ways to see their feed count via some free tools and tricks. I would explain three such methods here that can be used to get others’ FeedBurner based feed statistics.

Get the best out of your feed and FeedBurner

Syndicating your blog’s content is one of the bare minimum requirements to attract more readers. Usually, your blog theme or template by default takes care of exposing your RSS or ATOM feeds to the readers. However, most of us opt to serve the blog rss via free services like (Google) FeedBurner so that a number of features can be added to your blog rss feed and the subscription and traffic received via feed can be tracked.
