There’s no doubt that Google AdSense is the unchallenged leader in PPC advertising and hence the default choice for any publisher/blogger to get started with blog monetization. When it comes to the publisher coverage, available distribution channels, ad design, ad serving, reporting capabilities, earning potential and overall simplicity, what have you; Google is the best and the biggest! Increase AdSense Earnings with Google AdSense Category Filter

Google AdSense has recently introduced the category filter feature for publishers. The category filter, along with other ad optimization features such as competitive ad filter can be used to effectively increase your Google AdSense income.

Sitelinks: Google could do more about it

When I first noticed Google sitelinks a couple of years ago or so, I was thoroughly amazed at Google’s ever-improving innovation to simplify the SERPs (Search Engine Result Pages). I thought the Sitelinks provide great value to the search user by allowing him/her to pick one of the relevant sub-pages directly from the SERPs so that he/she doesn’t need to search twice or thrice (or click several times) before arriving at the desired page.

Google Labs is one of the coolest places for those who are in love with the latest on Web 2.0, web gadgets and innovations around the search. This is a good news for online entrepreneurs as they can build their businesses around companies like Google at least for the next five years.

Google bashing and Screw Google mentality!

There is an old story in the blogosphere of John Chow’s battle against Google. Having made majority of his fortunes out of blogging, John Chow decided to take on Google! The story was serialized on blogosphere over several episodes. The end result was that his blog went down from 5 to 4 to 3 in terms of page ranking! As a consequence if you search for something related to John Chow on Google, the SERPs will present his clones and clowns!

Earlier this week Shoemoney clarified on his controversial statement in one of the recent speeches. Though he tried to pacify both Google and his readers in the post the undertone was ‘Err, I don’t want the same fate as John Chow’! I would like to ask these two gentlemen how they reached where they are today and who gave them the push?
